We created the thankful bee for two reasons. Melissa wanted a central location to park her writing, for starters. She also realized she had too little play in her life. (She has always been a word nerd and thinks writing is FUN!) So, Melissa recently resumed writing as a creative outlet for unpacking her messy life. Her only rules? Be humble. Be authentic. Encourage people.
The thankful bee covers a variety of topics our family encounters in our day to day. Marriage. Parenting college-age kids. Parenting young children. Open adoption. Navigating hectic schedules. Professional work demands.
